Tween Bathroom Redo [Irving Texas Interior Designer]
I recently finished my daughter, Bella's bathroom remodel and I love how it turned out! It was time to have her bathroom reflect her personality and age. She's such a gorgeous young woman with beauty and style.
I transformed this bathroom from an outdated more traditional design to transitional, feminine and functional. I started with a fresh, clean shade of white on the walls, Snowbound by Sherwin Williams. I replaced the counter tops with Quartz and updated all of the light fixtures, faucets and hardware to aged brass from Ferguson’s showroom.
I replaced the two vertical mirrors with one larger horizontal mirror, which makes the room feel much larger. I had the frame which I had purchased at an antique shop a few years ago and had a piece mirror inserted, I love that it gives the room a shabby chic feel.
I replaced the outdated grey tiles in shower with a crisp bright white beveled subway, then continued the aged brass in the shower head and fixtures.
I finished off the room with an antique French chandelier that my dad brought back from Argentina a few years back, it dates back to the 1800’s so I love adding that history into her space which makes it feminine with a bit of glamour.
I finished the space up with my signature colors, pink and gold. I love that it transitions perfectly into her bedroom, which have the same hues, for a perfect flow from one room to the next. More pictures from this makeover coming soon!
